I’m currently on a quick, post-NYFW, trip to beautiful Vermont! I love fresh snowfall and enjoy nothing more than escaping the city and exploring beautiful New England towns. For my snow friendly ensembles, I like to layer multiple pieces of outerwear together and play with different proportions  – allowing me to remove layers (if the weather permits) and still feel cozy and put together. Escaping NYC and heading somewhere more remote inspires me to pull together casual looks I may not typically wear in the city. To combat the cold, I try to stay practical (with a twist!) with my accessories choices. I am always on the hunt for cute snow boots (and boot socks) for my snowy travels, and I always pack my foolproof down mittens to combat the cold. Pom or pattern knit hats are my picks to keep my ears warm, and I find they can easily add a bit of charm to any cozy, cold weather outfit. And of course, I can’t leave home without my sunglasses!

SNOW BOOTS //

For long days in the snow I usually rely on my Sorel boots, but for quicker, winter walks in the city, I don’t mind pulling on wellies and layering multiple pairs of warm socks underneath (love this polka dot pair under $50)! Shop some of my current favorites boots below:

I am always on the lookout for colorful accessories to top off my winter looks. A pom pom hat and cashmere wrap are my typical go-to choices. During the winter months I am nearly always toting around my White and Warren wrap! Shop new accessory picks below:

COATS //

Earlier in the season I did a full post on colorful coats that I love. I’ve rounded up more favorites below including a few parkas, more classic shapes (in unexpected colors), as well as a waterproof style I just ordered for particularly wet winter weather. Shop them all below:
