FALL COAT WEEK // STATEMENT COATS

Today is all about statement coats, you know that one coat in your closet that can stand alone? It is so over-the-top that it IS the outfit. I am wearing a rad Jill Stuart one over here today, but wanted to round up a few more of my favorites.

Leopard is always a good idea (as seen here and here). Whether it is printed, with faux fur, or jacquard, leopard is an easy way to stand out among the sea of black and navy coats every Fall. Shop a few of my favorite statement coats above!

Stripes are a personal favorite of mine. While traditionally saved for an easy tee or cozy sweater, I love stripes most in unexpected places like a great overcoat, rain boot, or even a full skirt. I’ve linked to a variety of striped coats above (I also love this one). Whether you are looking for more preppy, traditional with a twist, or over-the-top edge, there is a little something for everyone.

Florals for Fall continue to inspire me. While an elegant topcoat in a dark floral is an easy way to stay on trend, I also love the unexpected mix of a sporty puffer style with a ditsy floral. You can see how I have worn Fall florals here and here!

Pink! This color is everywhere for Fall and Winter and what better way to wear it than in a vibrant piece of outerwear. I lived in this pink coat last year and have actually already re-worn it this season (as seen here, here and here). So excited when I saw it back in stock this year, especially since it is under $200!
