NOT YOUR BASIC BLACK //

Playing in the snow in Dumbo, Brooklyn!  Here I am wearing an old CH by Carolina Herrera coat, Maje Skirt (last seen here), Hunter X Rag&Bone (seen here), UO Beret, and Saint Laurent Heart glasses. 

Black can be anything but basic. While admittedly my closet is completely bursting with color, I am always on the hunt to add black pieces into my wardrobe – so long as they are unique and special. My latest find are these incredibly cute heart shaped sunglasses (wearing above). They provide the perfect finishing touch and are an easy way to add a quirky twist to an otherwise normal black look. Bows, bell sleeves, added texture, or simply an interesting detail make all of the below pieces stand out as anything but bland, black basics.
