THROWBACK //

Mixing as many blues as possible and eagerly awaiting the arrival of summer. This post was taken on the Hudson River Park in September of 2016.

Question: You mentioned in your NYC photography locations post (see here for full post) that you used to live in the West Village. Do you still live in NYC?

Answer: Oh yes I do still live in NYC! I just moved over into Brooklyn. I needed more space, and due to traveling so frequently, I was looking for a place with a few more amenities (such as a doorman for packages, parking, etc). While I wasn’t specifically set on Brooklyn, I have to say it has been a wonderful change of scenery. I absolutely love the West Village, but had gotten into such a routine that I really wasn’t enjoying ALL that NYC has to offer. I didn’t even realize it!  Moving has motivated me to explore new neighborhoods, discover new restaurants, and quite frankly, use public transportation more (I used to walk everywhere when I lived in the west village, including walking to work). Sometimes you need a change, but don’t really know what that change is until you just do it! One of the best things about NYC is that you can move neighborhoods, feel like you have really begun a new chapter, while not really traveling very far. 🙂

Lately, I’ve had a thing for suiting. This baby blue blazer just made its way into my shopping cart!
