THROWBACK //

The first few nice days of spring always get me in the mood for bright whites!

Question: Do you think you will call NYC home forever?

Answer: Like many New Yorkers, I have an intense love/hate relationship with this wonderful city. There are many days I love it so much that I could cry, and feel so lucky to live in such a diverse, creative, and fast paced environment. On other days, I want to move far, far away where doing the tiniest things aren’t SO complicated and you don’t feel such heavy pressure. And, maybe live somewhere where there is enough room for all my clothes! 🙂 That is totally dramatic of course, but I do think city living can bring out both the best and the worst in me at times. I have touched on it in the past, but I just do not think I am a west coast girl. Many of my close friends and family are here on the east coast, and I see myself here for the long haul. However, if you asked me if this is what I would be doing at this point in my life, I would not have believed it. I have learned over the past three or four years to plan, but not overthink. Many of the best decisions I have made have been more on a whim – and were never part of a ‘ten year plan’. As of now, I have no plans to move, but also no plans that specifically have me staying. I am working on being more flexible and seeing where it all goes!
