I am always trying to think of new color combinations to wear and fun ways to mix and match pieces. Over the past two weeks, with the hope of showing versatility and providing styling inspiration, I have been showcasing lots of different ways to wear (and re-wear) the pieces within the Atlantic-Pacific X Halogen collection (available 10/22 – SO SOON!). Below I re-thinking new ways to wear color with the pieces from the collection – you can also check out a recent color combinations post here for additional hue mixing ideas! Some of the looks are heavily weighted with pieces from my collection, while with others, I’ve dipped into my closet to mix and match back to items I already own.
Also, I will be publishing a more comprehensive guide to the collection that will include fit info, pricing, and a few other requests that you had for me. Don’t worry, I’ll release this well prior to the 9am EST launch on Monday so you’ll have plenty of time to prepare for the launch! Thank you so much for all of the support so far, it’s been such an amazing journey!
LILAC AND PLAID (not a color, very aware) // This fall I’ve loved incorporating lilac into my wardrobe and am obsessed with this more unexpected combination of plaid and lilac! This menswear inspired suiting is almost begging for a more feminine element, and this lilac top and lilac sweater felt like the perfect items to take the suit in a different direction. You can also see how I broke this suit apart and paired the blazer with a skirt here!

GREEN AND PINK // Green and pink has been one of my favorite color combinations this season and here I’ve paired the pink bow blouse and pink oxfords from the collection with some mean green pieces from my closet. The pink blouse was originally styled with the tulle skirt (see here), but it is far from a one-trick pony. It looks great with denim, high waisted dress pants, or even with a more simple skirt. While I am wearing it above with green, and with head-to-toe pink here, it also works equally well with more a traditional navy or black!
Navy Blazer: Atlantic-Pacific X Halogen. Navy Pants: Atlantic-Pacific X Halogen. Stripe Multi Sweater: Atlantic-Pacific X Halogen. Tights: Atlantic-Pacific X Halogen. Navy Oxfords: Atlantic-Pacific X Halogen. Bag: Chanel. Orange Coat: Zara.
NAVY AND ORANGE // I am loving the navy suit re-imagined with a pop of orange. The multi-stripe sweater is incredibly comfy, has hit of lurex for just a bit of shine, and has an amazing tailored fit (one of the tighter sweaters in the collection) – making it perfect to wear under a blazer. The multi-stripe layout allows for mixing and matching in so many different ways and with an array of colors. As an example, here I’ve added orange tights, an orange coat, and my pink Chanel bag to play up the colors in the stripes and make the whole outfit POP!
