Sadly, summer feels like it is coming to an end! But, with the changing of each season I am always on the lookout for new bags that help transition my looks. This iconic Akris Ai bag has everything I’m looking for – understated luxury, interest in detail, and design versatility. The bag is a convertible design and can change into three different looks: a signature tote (how I am wearing it above), a rectangular shopper, and a trapezoid tote (with the side panels folded inward). I am carrying it as a top handle, but it also comes with a detachable shoulder strap. The Ai is roomy enough for everything I need as a city commuter, yet sleek enough that I don’t feel as though I am lugging around an oversized duffle bag (we all know the feeling). While this shape is available in numerous solids, patterns, and even a woven leather, this color blocked option caught my eye. Wear it now with denim and a striped tee, or an easy red dress, and come fall, it will pair perfectly back to a new sleek red suit and your favorite oversized camel coat.
